2008 Massachusetts Indoor Open Tournament

We have finished our first tournament! The "2008 Massachusetts Indoor Open" was held on March 28th to 30th, 2008. The results are here.

I would like to thank the judges, volunteers and 62 archers that participated in the tournament! The Judges are: Ray Hooper, G. Stewart Renner, and Alan Rudolph. The volunteers are Chris Gerstel, John Dye, Joan Pooley and Scott Roy.

The tournament was a FITA Indoor Round at 18 meters. This means a two minute time limit per end, with 3 arrows being shot per end. There are 20 ends with a total of 60 arrows. The maximum score is 600 points.

We had a total of 62 archers attending, with seven archers withdrawing. We collected a total of $1265 in tournamenet fees, with expenses of $172.73 for awards to date. We still have to purchase more awards and there will be mailing costs to send the awards to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. The breakdown of archers is as follows:
