Drawing provides power to the bow to drive the arrow towards the target. Drawing is the simple act of moving the bow string; but you must direct how you move to properly draw the bow. Properly drawing the bow prepares the upper back to complete the last parts of the BEST shot process.
Move the bowstring by using angular motion of the drawing shoulder and upper back to move the index finger of the string hand to the top of the sternum. The movement comes from LAN2. (LAN2 is the area on your back, at the top outside edge of the shoulder blade about where the arm joins the shoulder.) LAN2 moves towards the spine.
The string hand follows the draw elbow; the string hand never initiates movement or leads the draw elbow but always follows the draw elbow.
