NAA Coaching Certification

The NAA recognizes six levels of archery coaches.

• Level 1 is a Basic Archery Instructor, intended for archery camps and youth activities.
• Level 2 is an Archery Instructor, intended to teach archery to JOAD clubs, run a JOAD club and teach the Level 1 course and certify Basic Archery Instructors.
• Level 2.5 is an Instructor Trainer, can perform all the duties of a Archery Instructor and also can run a Level 2 course and certify Archery Instructors.
• A Level 3 Archery Coach is intended to provide advanced archery instruction, assist with national archery training camps, and all the duties of an Instructor Trainer.
• A Level 4 National Coach provides coaching for elite archers, can run national archery training camps, perform all the duties of an Archery Coach and assist with running an Archery Coach course.
• The Level 5 National Coach is an honorary position used to recognize a National Coach who has greatly contributed to sport of target archery.
