NAA Coaching Certification
The NAA recognizes six levels of archery coaches.
- Level 1 is a Basic Archery Instructor, intended for archery camps
and youth activities.
- Level 2 is an Archery Instructor, intended to teach archery to JOAD
clubs, run a JOAD club and teach the Level 1 course and certify Basic
Archery Instructors.
- Level 2.5 is an Instructor Trainer, can perform all the duties of
a Archery Instructor and also can run a Level 2 course and certify
Archery Instructors.
- A Level 3 Archery Coach is intended to provide advanced archery
instruction, assist with national archery training camps, and all
the duties of an Instructor Trainer.
- A Level 4 National Coach provides coaching for elite archers, can run
national archery training camps, perform all the duties of an Archery
Coach and assist with running an Archery Coach course.
- The Level 5
National Coach is an honorary position used to recognize a National
Coach who has greatly contributed to sport of target archery.
