Level 2 Instructor Course
The Level 2 Instructor’s Course provides information to existing archery instructors on the National Training System, teaching techniques, safety, reviews the Level 1 Instructor Course and presents how to teach the Level 1 Instructor Course. The Level 2 Instructor Course is 16 hours long. The course is from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on both days.
Pre-requisites for the Level 2 Course:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You are expected to know the parts of the bow and arrow
- You are expected to know how to shoot archery.
- You are expected to want to teach archery.
- There is an Entrance Exam, about 30 minutes long, and you must pass with 70% or better to enter the class. The entrance exam covers the material in the Level 1 Instructor’s Course.
- You must have requested your the USA Archery Background Check (see below)
- You must have passed the US Olympic Safe Sport On-Line Course (see below)
Before you come to the Level 2 Certification Course, you need to be a member of USA Archery or National Field Archery Association (NFAA) or the Archery Shooters Association. You may get your USA Archery Membership at https://webpoint.usarchery.org/wp/Memberships/Join.wp. You may get your National Field Archery Association Membership at teaching Google for NFAA Membership. (The NFAA website has hidden their membership page web address.) You can join Archery Shooters Association at https://portal.asaarchery.com/index.php?option=com_member&task=signup&Itemid=329&linkey=f84df58a999c366e31ab4c18f76de6a0.
Before you come to the Level 2 Certification Course, you need to pass a USA Archery Background Check. You can get the USA Archery Background Check at http://www.teamusa.org/USA-Archery/Coaching/Background-Screening.
Before you come to the Level 2 Certification Course, you need to take and pass the Safe Sport On-Line Course from USA Archery. You can find the course on the http://www.teamusa.org/USA-Archery/Judges-and-Coaches/USA-Archery-SafeSport. The Safe Sport Course is free.
All Level 2 Instructor Course Students receive the course books, stretch band, a basic finger tab, and finger sling. The course books will be mailed to you before the course. You must bring the books with you. You will be using our Recurve equipment.
The course fee is $200 per person.
A deposit of $50 is due with registration. The deposit can be by credit card over the phone, credit card, debit card, cash or check in person at the shop or a check payable to Ace Archers, Inc. and sent to:

The final payment of $150 must be made in cash, check, credit card or debit card on the day of the course.
