Five Day Programs

A typical 5 day programs is held during a single week from the 2nd week in June to the 2nd week in August. From Monday through Friday, at the same time, a two hour archery class is held. The typical time slots are 9:00 am to 11:00 am, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. 5 day programs can be held indoors or out. A 5 day program is also available for Holiday Vacation, February Vacation and Spring Break. 5 day programs are not available during 4th of July week.

For outdoor programs, inclement weather will cause a class to be postponed. Inclement weather during warmer months is a heavy rain, high winds (20+ mph) or electrical storms within 10 miles. During the cooler months inclement weather is when the temperature is less than 50 degrees Fahrenheit and there is any rain, or heavy rain, or high winds (20+ mph) or electrical storms within 10 miles. All dates are “made up” as soon as possible.

Thursday Roll Call, Groups Instruction, one-on-one correction, Shooting Demonstration between ends (Traditional Archery, Olympic Recurve Archery, Compound Archery), practice at 18 meters, Ranking Game
Friday Roll Call, 2 ends of practice at 18 meters, Ranking Game, JOAD Finals, Distribute Certificate of Rank
