Level 1, Basic Instructor Course

Our first Level 1, Basic Instructor Course held in OUR facility will be on April 12, 2008 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The coure is 8 hours or 12 hours long, depending on class size. If there are 8 or less students, then the class is 8 hours long. If there are more than 8 students, the class is 12 hours long.

The class covers archery range set-up, archery range safety, rules, procedures, commands and the teaching the basic form. There is a final exam, both a written part and a practical part. The written part takes 1 hour. The practical exam is the opening talk for archery class. You must pass with 75% for the written exam and you must pass the practical exam. Once you pass the exams, you will be certificed as a Level 1 Basic Instructor.

You must have prior experience as an archer. You are expected to know the parts of the bow and arrows and how to shoot archery.

The cost costs $75 per person. Payment can be made in cash, check or credit card on the day of the course.

Please bring a lunch and plan on a very short (30 minute) break for lunch. Please bring writing materials.
