Our first Level 2, Intermediate Instructor Course held in OUR facility will be on May 3, 2008 and May 10, 2008 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. You must attend both days.
The coure is 16 hours long
The class covers archery range set-up, archery range safety, rules, procedures, commands and the teaching the basic form, motivating students, proper teaching methods, form error recogniztion and correction. There is a final exam, both a written part and a practical part. The written part takes 1 hour. The practical exam is the teaching the basic form. You must pass with 75% for the written exam and you must pass the practical exam. Once you pass the exams, you will be certificed as a Level 2 Intermediate Instructor. The certification comes from the National Alliance for Developing Archery (NADA) and you will receive you certification in the mail.
You must have prior experience as Level 1 Basic Instructor or have been teaching archery for 6 months or more. You are expected to know the parts of the bow and arrows and how to shoot archery. You are expected to want to teach archery. There is an extrance exam, about 30 minutes long, and you must pass with 70% or better to enter the class. If you fail the entrance exam $100 will be refunded.
The cost costs $125 per person. Payment can be made in cash, check or credit card on the day of the course.

Please bring a lunch and plan on a very short (30 minute) break for lunch. Please bring writing materials.
