Ace Archers STP

STP stands for Senior Training Program and is the adult archery training program from the USA Archery. STP was begun several years ago, with the goal of training adult archers for the local, national and international tournaments.

All STP programs offer an achievement award system based on how well the archer shoots. There are 6 levels in the achievement system; beginning with Bowman and extending to Grand Master Archer. Once a month, the STP archers have the opportunity to participate in a Qualifying Round and earn their next rank. The STP members can advance up to two ranks during their first Qualifying Round, but after that they must advance one rank at a time.

The Ace Arches STP program is the adult division of our archery club that provides archery training, classes, practice sessions, and access to the Aces competitive team. STP is for both women and men of the ages 19 and up. As with all STP programs, one goal is to develop competitive archers who are successful in local, national and international archery tournaments; but our primary focus is to enjoy archery.

Archery training can get be as simple as attending weekly class, to involving the archer’s entire life and every where in between. Archery training addresses both the psychological and physical aspects of the human being. Aces Archers can help the archer in archery practice, psychological training, physical training (cardiovascular and weight training), archery form, nutrition, and tournament preparation.

We have weekly STP classes on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Friday class is from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. There two classes on Saturdays, 9:00 am to 11:00 am or 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. All archery classes are held in our facility at 131 Morse St, Foxboro, MA 02035. (For directions, please see MapQuest.) All archery classes include the necessary equipment.
