SAT Achievement Ranks

There are 6 SAT achievement ranks, from Bowman to Grand Master Archer. The ranks are earned by shooting a specific archery game, the Qualifying Round. The Qualifying Round consists of ten three arrow ends for a total of thirty arrows. (An β€œend” is when the competitors shoot a specific number of arrows during the same time.) Since a perfect score would be 300 points the Qualifying Round is called a β€œ300 Round.” The higher the total points the higher the rank the archer can achieve.

The first three ranks, Bowman and Master Bowman can awarded at any time, but the ranks of Archer and beyond can only be awarded after the archer joins the NAA.

During their first Qualifying Round, an archer can earn either Bowman or Master Bowman. After the first Qualifying Round, the archer can only advance one rank at a time.

During the fall and winter Ace Archers only offers Indoor SAT Achievement Awards, since we only have access to an 18 meter range. During the spring and the summer, Ace Archers holds outdoor practice sessions where a SAT members can achieve their next rank using the outdoor distances.
