2023 Tax Time JOAD Tournament
The 2023 Tax Time JOAD Indoor Tournament is on Saturday, 4/15/2019, at 7:00 pm. The tournament will be held at Ace Archers, Inc. The application can be found at the front desk. Please review the rules below. There is a strict limit of 28 archers! Signup quickly or lose your opportunity!
The tournament will be a Qualification Round, 10 ends of 3 arrows per end for a total of 30 arrows and 300 points. There will be no break. The tournament may be a double line. There will be 4 practice ends before scoring begins. There are no awards for this tournament.
The tournament is not only a tournament, it is a Qualification Round where you can earn your next rank in the JOAD or Adult Archery programs.
Rules
- This tournament is only open to Ace Archers Members with a USA Archery Membership. (If you are attending an Archery Class at Ace Arches, Inc. and you have an USA Archery membership, you are a member of Ace Archers.) You can join USA Archery here.
- Qualification Round – 10 ends, 3 arrows per end, Single Line, 2 minutes 10 seconds per end
- We will be using the timing clock.
- No dress code
- Double Scoring
- 3 or 4 people per scoring group
- 2 people record the score
- 1 person calls the arrows
- 1 person marks the arrows
- Each person will be in a category based on their JOAD and Adult Program rank:
Age Group Star Rank Bow/Distance/Target Youth No Rank, Green Star, Purple Star, Grey Star Barebow, Basic Compound, Olympic Recurve/9m/60cm, Compound/9m/40 cm Youth White Star, Black Star Barebow, Basic Compound, Olympic Recurve /18m/60 cm, Compound/18m/40 cm Youth Blue Star Barebow, Basic Compound, Olympic Recurve /18m/60 cm, Compound/18m/40 cm Youth Red Star, Yellow Star Barebow, Basic Compound, Olympic Recurve /18m/60 cm, Compound/18m/40 cm Youth Bronze, Silver or Gold Olympian Barebow, Basic Compound, Olympic Recurve /18m/60 cm, Compound/18m/40 cm Adult No Rank, Green Star, Purple Star Barebow, Basic Compound, Olympic Recurve, Compound/18m/40 cm Adult Grey Star, White Star, Black Star Barebow, Basic Compound, Olympic Recurve, Compound/18m/40 cm Adult Blue Star Barebow, Basic Compound, Olympic Recurve, Compound/18m/40 cm Adult Red Star, Yellow Star Barebow, Basic Compound, Olympic Recurve, Compound/18m/40 cm Adult Bronze, Silver or Gold Olympian Barebow, Basic Compound, Olympic Recurve, Compound/18m/40 cm Coaches Any Rank, All Bows Barebow, Olympic Recurve, Compound/18m/40 cm - Divisions (bow type): Barebow (Barebow, Genesis Barebow and all Traditional Recurve and Longbows), Olympic Recurve (Recurve with sight and/or stabilizer) and Compound (Genesis class bows with a sight and all other compound bows; Genesis Barebow is excluded).
- Each archer competes with only those in their own division and category.
- All Adult Compound Archers and JOAD Compound Archers ranked Blue Star and above use the inner ten; all other archers use the outer ten.
- Final Results will be announced on this page for the tournament at the end of the tournament.
- There will be no awards for this tournament.
- There is a strict limit of 28 people for the tournament.
- Application fee is $12. The fee is due at when the application is received.
- If the application is received after 4/10/2023, there is a $10 Late Fee.
